Hannah Blake is from Auckland (New Zealand) and signed with University of Michigan on a 100% soccer scholarship starting August 2019.
We were introduced to Hannah by our good friend Chris Zoricich, a former All White and the director of soccer at Saint Kentigern College. Hannah is no ordinary student-athlete, she has represented New Zealand at every level including NZ U17, NZ U20, Women’s National A-Team and the Football Ferns. Hannah is an excellent striker, and her goal in the Fifa U20 2018 World Cup voted in the top 10 goals of the tournament.
The University of Michigan is located in Ann Arbor (Michigan) and is one of the top colleges in the United States. The university has over 50,000 students and their American football stadium alone seats over 100,000 people. The University of Michigan is well known for producing professional sports athletes which is one of the reasons why Hannah decided to attend Michigan. Hannah will be competing in NCAA Division I Big Ten Conference. The Big Ten Conference include big-time universities such as Michigan State, Penn State, Ohio State, University of Maryland and Purdue University to name a few.
We are so excited to watch Hannah compete this season. Go Wolverines!
