Heimanarri has signed a tennis scholarship with University of South Carolina Sumter (USC Sumter), an NCAA Junior College located in South Carolina.

Heimanarri is from Tahiti, and we were introduced through LifeTime Tennis Academy. This tennis academy is the largest tennis academy in Queensland Australia. LifeTime tennis academy is owned by Professional Coach Garry Stickler and Graeme Brimblecomb. Heimanarri is currently training at this academy as he prepares for the college system in August 2019.

USC Sumter is one of the top junior colleges in the college system and based on last season they should be ranked inside the top ten in the country. The junior college system is funded by the NCAA. It is a stepping stone for athletes who may not meet NCAA four year college requirements. Athletes complete their Freshman and Sophomore years at Junior College and then transfer to a four-year college to complete their Junior and Senior years.

USC Sumter competes against schools across many states including North Carolina, Georgia, and New York. Recently USC Sumter was competing at Flushing Meadows, the home of the US Open.

We are so excited to see Heimanarri compete August 2019. Go Fire Ants!
