Holly Stewart has accepted a full tennis scholarship with Boise State University, an NCAA Division I university located in Boise Idaho.
We had the pleasure of meeting Holly through the 2SW Tennis Academy in Auckland New Zealand. Angela and Garry Swinkels own this tennis academy and is based at the Royal Oak Tennis Club. Angela and Garry also run international and national touring services and are known to produce New Zealand National Tennis Champions.
Holly is an outstanding tennis player and has won over 10 New Zealand National Titles and 3 International Titles. After sending out Holly’s athlete profile to our network, we had many colleges interested in offering full scholarships. However, after many calls with the staff at Boise State and conversations with fellow kiwis at the college, Holly was very keen to accept the full scholarship offer.
Boise State accommodates over 16,000 students and has an American football stadium which seats over 36,000 people. Boise State University competes in the Mountain West Conference which includes universities in Idaho, California, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming. The university has an amazing campus with beautiful facilities. The campus facilities include a state of the art gymnasium for athletes to work on strength and condition, and an indoor and outdoor tennis facility.
We are very excited to see Holly be part of the Boise State Family in August 2020. Go Broncos!
