Jared Sinkinson has signed his soccer scholarship with the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS). The university competes within NCAA Division II, located in Colorado Springs.

Jared is from Auckland New Zealand and went to High School at Saint Kentigern College. It is common knowledge that this high school is dominant in soccer. They have secured the New Zealand Secondary School National Championship in the past. We met Jared through the Director of Soccer at Saint Kentigern College, Chris Zoricich. Jared was the former Captain of the first eleven soccer team at the school and had signed up with another college placement agency. After two years of working with this agency, Jared had not found his college. Earlier this year Jared signed with us, and after talking to multiple colleges, Jared had a breakthrough. Jared had a great connection with Head Soccer Coach Brian Miller at UCCS and accepted an offer to start in August 2019.

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs has a beautiful campus. UCCS offers a wide range of majors and has brilliant academic support systems to help student-athletes. UCCS competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference which includes universities from Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, South Dakota and Nebraska. The school has over 10,000 students which are big for an NCAA Division II college. In 2018 the men’s soccer team finished fifth out of twelve teams. This coming year with the inclusion of Jared, they are looking to make it to conference finals.

Best of luck Jared and we are glad you finally found the right fit! Go Moutain Lions!
