Josh McDermott has recently signed with Ferris State University, an NCAA Division II college located in Big Rapids Michigan.

We met Josh in 2017 where he was trying to go through the college process on his own. Josh wanted our help and quickly joined the Platform Family and we got straight into work. After spending hours talking to college coaches, Josh signed with University of Missouri Kansas City. However, after his Freshman year, Josh was not having the experience he wanted. We then quickly got a transfer release and within a few weeks, Josh signed with Feris State University where he will be starting as a Sophomore in August 2019.

Ferris State University competes within the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Ferris State has a great indoor tennis facility and is located in a great college town. The campus is vibrant and the majority of the 12,000 students are athletes.

The college system can be tricky, and sometimes when you think you have the right college fit it turns out to not be true. This is why we look after our athletes until they graduate.

Well done Josh! We cannot wait to see you compete August 2019!
