Josh Snowdon-Poole has signed a tennis scholarship with Sacramento State University, an NCAA Division I university located in Sacramento California.

Josh lives in Wellington, New Zealand with his parents Baz and Nicky, brother Zino and sister Zara. We met Josh through the PLANiTPRO Tennis Academy which is located in Wellington. He has been coached by various coaches including Andy Wheeler at Capital Coaching, but recently under the guidance of PLANiTPRO Tennis Head Coach’s Clint Packer and Tristan Stayt.

Josh is studying a Bachelor of Science degree (BSC), majoring in physical activity, conditioning and coaching. This form of degree is under the Kinesiology umbrella and is common for student-athletes who want to remain in the sporting industry after their university career.

Sacramento is the capital of California and the university has just over 30,000 students. Sacramento State University compete in the Big Sky conference which competes against schools along the west coast.  They are also involved in tournaments where they compete against athletes from great schools such as UC Davis, Santa Clara University, Fresno State and many more.

Since we began working with Josh in 2015, he has had his eyes set on a great Division I program located in California. This is the perfect fit for Josh and his family!  We wish Josh all the best and we are very excited to watch him grow over the years.
