Daniel Edwards has signed a soccer scholarship with Missouri State University, an NCAA Division I college located in Springfield Missouri.
Daniel is from Auckland and has played soccer his whole life. He started working with Daniel in 2016 and started networking his player CV to college coaches. Towards the end of the year, we got Daniel involved in a USA college soccer showcase. He met a coach from Marshal University, an NCAA Division I college located in West Virginia. An offer was made to Daniel by Marshall University and he signed his National Letter of Intent to start in August 2017. However, during Daniels Freshman year, he found this was not the right college fit for him. We then got an NCAA release and started networking with other Division I colleges.
After the Head Coach from Missouri State watched Daniels soccer video, he quickly reached out to us and began talking with Daniel about a soccer scholarship. Daniel was very happy and started at Missouri State in August 2018. Missouri State University competes within the Missouri Valley Conference and is contenders for winning their conference tournament. The college has over 18,000 students on campus and state of the art athletic facilities.
We are very happy Daniel found the right college for him! Best of luck this season Dan! Go Bears!
