Basketball is one of the biggest college sports within the college system. College Basketball generates hundreds of millions of dollars each year. One of America’s most-watched sporting event is March Madness, a college Basketball knockout tournament with the best colleges involved. In 2017 the NCAA generated $1 Billion (USD) in revenue according to Forbes, earned through broadcasting rights, ticket sales, and advertising.
