Congratulations to Dawson Gore who has signed his scholarship agreement the West Liberty men’s soccer program! Dawson started his college campaign back in 2018 and was competing within the NAIA system. After two solid years at Marian University (Indianapolis), Dawson has decided to transfer into the NCAA system where he will be starting his Junior year.

Dawson is originally from Wellington (NZ) and will be joining West Liberty this Fall. West Liberty competes in the uber competitive NCAA Division II Mountain East Conference. Dawson is a super hardworking, motivated defender that will add tremendous value to West Liberty. We are so excited to watch Dawson compete in the this August! Next stop, West Virginia!

From Dawson:

“My college soccer goals are to win the conference and get a ring. As well as make an all-conference team in the process and lead my team to the national tournament. My academic goals are to ensure that I get my degree as I am extremally fortunate to have been allowed to play the game that I love on the other side of the world and get a degree at the same time. I want to make sure that I get my degree because I will be the first person in my family to have gone to university and get a degree which is an intrinsic motivating factor for me.”
