Congratulations Elizabeth (Liz) for signing with Coker University! Just over a month ago Liz told us that she would like to transfer to a new program from Fairmont State. After a tough decision between some quality programs, Liz has decided to join Coker this fall and we’re super excited to watch her compete! Coker are an NCAA Division 2 school that competes in the South Atlantic Conference and is located in Hartsville, South Carolina. A big reason for Liz was her connection with new head coach Michael Donald. He is looking to revamp the program and it is a fantastic opportunity for Liz to showcase her talent.

Liz is from Wellington, New Zealand and plays for the formidable Wellington United. She was a part of their Central League/W-League champion teams in 2016, 2018, 2019 & 2020. Liz is working towards an exercise science degree.

Four years is a long time and sometimes athletes need a change of environment, that’s what we are here for. We are very excited for your new chapter Liz!

From Liz:

“My academic goals while at college are to continue gaining knowledge and learn new skills that I will be able to apply in my chosen career. I aim to complete my degree and graduate with a GPA higher than 3.75. My soccer goal while at college is to learn and improve as a player while playing in a competitive environment. I want to be an influential member of the team I am on through playing time and goals/assists. My long term goal in soccer is to continue playing at a competitive level even after college”
