Luke Allport | Northeastern State University
We have 4 Platform athletes joining the Northeastern State Men’s Soccer program. Coach Czlonka was so pumped when we came to an agreement on Hiro Nagahama-Sequera that he wanted more! Following that he signed Flynn Mulligan, Oliver Peters and Luke Allport. We are hoping our team of NZ recruits can help bolster the already strong NSU program. Located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma they compete in the Great American Conference in NCAA Division 2. Over the past 10 years NSU has gone 0.500 or better in all but one season in a very competitive conference where they will come up against another Platform athlete Jonah Pastiroff
Luke Allport is a fantastic forward from Auckland, New Zealand. He currently plies his trade for Birkenhead United in the Northern League. Luke signed up with Platform in September 2021 after amassing 32 goals in 16 games for Westlake Boys High School and ended up winning the Auckland Secondary Schools Golden Boot by over 10 goals! Luke has the ambition to test his skills over in the US, score buckets of goals and win some silverware.
From Luke:
“Going to College in America will let me make lifelong connections with a whole range of diverse people from different backgrounds in a way that excites me immensely. It is also the next step on my
soccer journey, allowing me to train and play at a level that I really believe I now need. At the same time, I would be getting a quality education that will set me up for my future.”
