Luke Hitchcock is from New Zealand and has been working with the Platform Team since 2021. Luke is an incredible 800m and 1500m runner which has earned him the honour of representing New Zealand. When Luke started this process, his focus was to find a college which can provide a full scholarship and help him improve as a Track athlete with strong academics. After talking to a number of colleges across the country, Luke connected well with the Monmouth Track Team and put pen to paper.

Monmouth University is located in New Jersey and competes within the NCAA Division 1 Midwest Conference. Monmouth is located just outside of New York and has incredible facilities for its student-athletes. They do have internship opportunities with large companies and have academic resources to ensure student-athletes grades are maintained to a high standard.

We are so excited to watch Luke compete soon as he joins the Monmouth Track Team in the Fall of 2022.
