Congratulations to Makensie Metzger who has signed her scholarship agreement with the Tusculum University Women’s Soccer Team! Makensie is from Tauranga (NZ) and currently competes for Otumoetai FC. Makensie expressed interest in the college system and joined the Platform Team in November last year. After networking her college CV with a number of programs, Makensie felt Tusculum University was the ideal fit for her college experience.

Tusculum University competes within the NCAA Division II South Atlantic Conference. Makensie will be busy as this college team covers a lot of ground and competes in a number of states. Tusculum have brought in 7 new internationals for the upcoming season (Including Makensie) hoping to give them the push they need to go deep into the NCAA tournament. Their last appearance was in 2009. We are excited to watch Makensie compete this Fall! Next stop, Tennessee!
