Congratulations to Tullamore MacFadyen who has signed his soccer contract with the University of Ottawa Arizona (OUAZ) Mens Soccer Team! Tullamore is from Nelson (NZ) but has already spent two years in college at a junior college Coffeyville Community College. He reached out to us last year with the goal of transferring colleges. After talking with multiple coaches, Tullamore found the OUAZ to be the best place for him.
This college program is brand new and has incredible athletic resources. They compete within the NAIA system and travel often to California to compete in the Golden Sun Athletic Conference. He will be joining fellow Platform athlete Oskar Wano on the team and hopefully he can help the already strong program win their first National Championship. They have been nationally ranked for the past 3 season but have unfortunately fallen short in the NAIA playoffs. We are very excited to watch Tullamore compete this Fall! Next stop, Arizona!
From Tullamore:
“I wanted to go to college in America to get a good education and to further my soccer career. I’m glad I came because it’s been a great opportunity so far. The kind of team I want to be a part of is where the team has a strong bond and the coaches. Where everyone’s willing to work hard for each other, and no one thinks they’re above the rest of the team.”
