Amrit Rai is from New Plymouth (New Zealand) and founded Platform Sports in 2014. Over the last 7 years, Amrit has placed over 230 student athletes into the college system. Amrit has built a strong recruitment team, and support athletes from 11 different countries. Amrit’s mission is to provide a safe and high-quality service to his student athletes.

Dylan Wood

Role: Platform Recruiting Executive Dylan Wood is from Wellington (New Zealand) and was placed into an American college by Platform Sports back in 2016. Dylan was placed at Metro State University in Denver Colorado. After two years he transferred to University of California Davis where he graduated with a business degree. Dylan is now working with Platform Sports as a recruitment manager and has earned over $1 million in scholarships for student athletes.

Chris Brown
Rugby
Role: College Recruiter Chris Brown has coached and trained professional rugby teams all over the world including working with the Fiji 7’s Men’s team, USA 7’s Men’s team and the Kenyan Men’s 7’s team. Chris recently worked with the USA 7’s Women’s Rugby Head Coach and is extremely well connected with coaches within the American Rugby college system. We are thrilled to have Chris part of the team.

Role: College Recruiter Jason Sautter coached college basketball for over 20 years in the American system. He coached are various levels including NCAA Division I and NJCAA. As a NJCAA coach, Jason moved over 170 student athletes into NCAA Division I college programs. Jason’s connections with college coaches are incredible and is a valuable member of the Platform Sports team.

Francesca Rowley
Field Hockey
Role: College Recruiter Francesca Rowley is from New Zealand and has an amazing career both a student athlete and a college coach. Francesa played for NCAA Division 1 Maine University a student athlete. She then coached for Maine, College of Holy Cross and Husson University. In the summer breaks Francesca ran AGH Field Hockey camps. These camps were held at some of the most prestigious universities including Duke and University of North Carolina. She brings strong connections and college experience to the Platform Team. We are thrilled to have her on board.

Natasha Lloyd
Swimming
Role: College Recruiter Natasha Lloyd is one of New Zealand’s best swimmers in the history of the sport. Natasha held a breaststroke records and has represented New Zealand on international stages. Natasha is a two time All-American, which is the highest sporting honour for a student athlete. She attended Auburn University, one of the most prestigious colleges in America. As a college recruiter she has earned over $3 million in scholarships for student athletes and her connections run deep in the college system. Very happy to have Natasha on the Platform Team.

Hannah Bennett
Waterpolo
Role: College Recruiter Hannah Bennett is from Rotuma, an island located in Fiji. Her father is from Rhode Island, and after high school she moved to America. Hannah earned a full Waterpolo scholarship at Concordia Irvine in Southern California. After her time as a student athlete, Hannah worked at the Vanguard Aquatics which is a well-known Waterpolo club in Huntington Beach California. This is often seen a recruiting base for college coaches, and from her time there, Hannah built amazing connections with trusted college coaches. We are thrilled to have Hannah on board Platform Sports.

Andrew Peat
Role: Video Analyst Andrew Peat has extensive experience working as a Performance Analyst, Video Coach and Assistant coach at 4 International Women’s World Cup events, 1 Men’s FIFA Club World Cup, supporting Canada Women’s National Team winning the Bronze Medal at the London 2012 Olympics and Professional Men’s Football as part of the Technical Staff for Major League Soccer (MLS), team the Vancouver Whitecaps for four seasons. College sports video as an essential part of the college process. We are delighted to have Andrew on board the Platform Team.

Gina Dymand
Volleyball
Role: College Recruiter Gina Dymand is a former New Zealand and Indoor and Beach Volleyball coach, selecting and coaching players both here and on tours to the USA. Having also both played in and coached Interprovincial volleyball teams to multiple titles, she brings experience and drive to Platform. She also represented New Zealand at the World University Games in Beijing. Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, she currently lives in Auckland with her partner Rob. Gina has spent the last decade learning and coaching with the best, invited by the President of Coaching and Technical for the FIVB and 4 times USA Olympic coach (with 2 Olympic medals) Hugh McCutcheon, to join his coaching team at his collegiate prep camps at the University of Minnesota nearly every year. Gina has made a lot of connections with top coaches and recruiters in the USA, and will be bringing her energy and hard work to the Platform Sports Management team. As a very successful business owner and advisor, she is passionate about helping others reach their potential and achieve their goals.

Rob Tarr

Role: College Recruiter Rob Tarr is an American ex-professional indoor volleyball player who is now living in Auckland, New Zealand with his partner Gina. Rob grew up in Cape Canaveral, Florida and played collegiately at Long Beach State in California before turning professional and playing for the US National Team for 8 years. During those years Rob has made connections and friendships with the very best volleyball players and coaches in the USA. Rob is currently the Game Development Manager for North Harbour Volleyball Association.

Role: College Recruiter Ali Borhani is from Arizona and has worked in the tennis college system for over 10 years. Platform Sports has had a close relationship with Ali over the last 7 years. Ali has worked within the NAIA, NJCAA and NCAA Division 1 system as a college coach. He also recruited from Platform Sports in the past during his time at Boise State University. Ali brings experience and incredible connections to the Platform Team.
