Alec Prentice is a golf athlete from Wellington, New Zealand and he signed with Platform Sports in 2022 to enter the American college system in the fall of 2023.
He is an incredibly talented student-athlete who was coached by PGA professional Kevin Smith who has previously worked with top golfers such as Daniel Hillier and Julianne Alvarez.
Alec signed with USC Upstate, which is an NCAA Division I college that competes within the Big South Conference. USC Upstate is located in South Carolina, near Spartanburg and is highly regarded for its athletic and academic facilities. Facilities such as the “Spartan Performance Center” have been recognised as one of the premiere strength and conditioning facilities in the Big South Conference.
Seeing as Alec has just joined the men’s golf team for the fall of 2023, his college career has only just begun. But we are incredibly excited to watch his trajectory as a golf student-athlete continue to develop in such an amazing college environment!
