Daniella Barrett is an incredibly talented golf athlete from Turku, Finland, who we helped attain a scholarship at the University of Miami for the Fall of 2019.

The University of Miami is an NCAA Division I college competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The college was founded in 1925 and has since become one of the country’s leading educational and athletic institutions.

Daniella has recently graduated from the University of Miami earlier this year with a college career that was nothing short of impressive. Making her collegiate debut at the Minnesota Invitational, Barrett posted a 36-hole total of 155 (+11) for a T67 finish. She was also instrumental in aiding the Miami Hurricanes to their first top-5 of the season at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational with a three-round total of 222 (+6) and shooting the low round of the team during the final day of the tournament, with three-under 69, finishing T37. She also had a noteworthy performance at the Jim West Challenge in 2021, scoring 208 for a T7 finish.

It has been an extraordinary 4-years for Daniella in the American college system, and we couldn’t be more glad to have been a part of it. We are incredibly proud of her for her recent graduation, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!

“I chose my college because I think it’s a great positive environment for me. The facilities were exactly what I was looking for, the coaches are great, and I feel like the opportunity to be a student-athlete is amazing. The system seems to work very well, and I believe I can get closer to my goals by going there. Platform Sports Management has been a huge help with my college path, and it was a lot easier to understand the college system with their help. Platform helped me understand what I want out of the college system and what college I should look for. It would have been hard without Platform’s help.” – Daniella Barrett
