Blake attended Saint Kentigern College prior to her signing with the University of Michigan, and during her time as a high school athlete, she was already a force to be reckoned with on the pitch. She played in the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and in both the 2016 and 2018 U-20 Women’s World Cups. At just age 17, she was also selected to play for the Football Ferns against Thailand during a two-match tour.

The University of Michigan, often referred to as U-M or simply Michigan, is an NCAA Division I college and competes in the NCAA Big Ten Conference. It is one of the oldest and most renowned universities in the country, known for its academic excellence, research contributions, and incredibly strong athletic programs.

Blake’s success within the American college system speaks for itself during her 4 years competing for the University of Michigan. In her freshman year, she already appeared in 20 matches and started in 19 of them, logging an impressive total of 1,068 minutes on the pitch along with 12 shots on target and a game-winning goal against Florida Gulf Coast. Blake also excelled academically during her time at Michigan, in her freshman year, she became a U-M Academic Achievement Award honoree, received All-Big Ten three years in a row, Big Ten Distinguished scholar in 2022, and finally, CSC Academic All-District in 2022 as well.
