High-intensity training. Honest coach feedback. Real college exposure. That’s what student-athletes experienced at our recent Soccer ID Camp, delivered in collaboration with Pure Soccer.
Led by James Coutts, former A.F.C. Bournemouth player and A-License coach, the two-day experience combined elite-level coaching with practical insight into what it really takes to play U.S. college soccer. It wasn’t just about performance. It was about preparation, clarity, and confidence.
“Our recent ID camp was just the beginning,” says James Coutts, Founder of Pure Soccer.
“Together, we’re offering athletes a unique experience—intense training, real insight into college life, and guidance from coaches who’ve walked this path.”
From technical drills to competitive match play, student-athletes were challenged to raise their standard. The camp gave them more than just training. It gave them a platform to be evaluated by experienced coaches who understand the U.S. college system inside out.
Every player walked away with actionable feedback on what they did well, where they can improve, and how to level up.
The college recruitment process can be overwhelming. That’s why our off-field workshops were designed to simplify everything—from eligibility rules to highlight video tips, timelines, and coach outreach strategies.
Whether you're a student-athlete mapping out your path or a parent supporting from the sidelines, these sessions offered real clarity and value.
One major highlight was the dedicated goalkeeper stream, led by TC1 Goalkeeping. Coaches Tom Collins and Nathan Popple delivered position-specific sessions focused on both the physical and mental demands of the role. For many keepers, it was the first time receiving training and feedback tailored to college-level expectations.
“We’ve got two staff who have come through the U.S. college system,” says James.
“They know what these athletes are going through and can coach with real experience behind them.”
The impact of the ID Camp went beyond the weekend. Following the overwhelmingly positive feedback from both athletes and families, we’re proud to announce official partnerships with both Pure Soccer and TC1 Goalkeeping.
This collaboration is built on shared values—developing talent with purpose, providing real exposure, and supporting athletes with integrity. Together, we’re creating a consistent, high-performance environment that mirrors what it takes to succeed in U.S. college sports.
This is just the beginning.
With demand growing fast, our ID Camps are expanding. Pure x Platform ID Camps will soon roll out across new locations in Australia and New Zealand. And with TC1’s specialised goalkeeping expertise, every athlete gets the individualised attention they deserve.
