With each passing day, Ronan Wynne’s aspiration of becoming a professional soccer player draws nearer, evident in his remarkable presence within the University of Denver men’s soccer team.

Before playing for Denver, Ronan earned the most Man of the Match awards during the 2019 winter season and was the best young defender in the club, earning himself MVP status in the U17 team in 2017-18. He also attended the New Zealand U-20 National Team camp at the age of 18 and started in all 16 national league games in 2019-20 for the Wellington Phoenix.

Ronan has already received multiple impressive awards while competing for the Pioneers. In 2022 alone, he received a United Soccer Coaches All-West Region First Team, Summit League All-Academic Team, was selected for the Summit League Players to Watch List, and became the Summit League Defensive Player of the Year.

The most impressive accolade of all, however, is recently being named in the top XI All-American team and even being voted as a top 10 college soccer player across the entire American college system!

We couldn’t be more proud to watch Ronan continue to thrive within the American college system, and we are patiently waiting for his return next season!
