Bella Raynes is a water polo student-athlete from Auckland, New Zealand who signed with Platform Sports in 2022 to join the American college system for the fall of 2023.
West Valley College, which Bella is currently competing for, is a California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) university competing in the Coast Conference. West Valley College is located in Saratoga, California. Saratoga is a city in the Santa Clara Valley, which is part of the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California. West Valley College is situated in the western part of the Santa Clara Valley and serves as a community college for the region.
The West Valley Aquatics Center serves as the home venue for both the men’s and women’s water polo teams at West Valley College, renowned as one of California’s premier facilities. This impressive facility boasts expansive team rooms, convenient on-deck showers, a state-of-the-art scoreboard, a generously sized warm-up area, and seating capacity for over 1000 enthusiastic fans.
Notably, the Aquatics Center has been the backdrop for outstanding achievements, including the seven-time CCCAA champion Viking men’s team and the 2021 champion Viking women’s team. Additionally, it proudly hosted the 2018 CCCAA Men’s & Women’s Water Polo State Championships and has been a frequent host for Coast Conference and NorCal championship tournaments.
