Liam Judkins is a golf athlete from Queenstown, New Zealand, who signed with Platform in 2022 to make his trip to the States and attend California State University (CSUN) in the fall of 2023.

California State University, Northridge (CSUN), is a public university located in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California. It is part of the California State University (CSU) system, which is the largest public higher education system in the United States. CSUN is an NCAA Division 1 college which competes in the Big West Conference.

The CSUN campus spans over 350 acres in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, making it one of the largest single-campus universities in California. It features modern facilities, green spaces, and a variety of academic, athletic, and recreational resources. The college is equipped with a basketball stadium which can seat up to 1,600 people, 26 tennis courts, a weight room, two soccer fields, an Olympic pool and countless other incredible facilities that work to aid their student’s progression as athletes.

Prior to Liam’s move to California, he was a member of the Kalvin Heights Senior A Pennants team, won the Chisholm Park Open U19, and placed in the top 5 at the under 17’s national tournament! We are incredibly proud to see Liam’s golf and academic career continue to take off, and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the CSUN men’s golf team for the next four years!
