Starting his soccer journey at the tender age of 5 in his hometown of New Plymouth, our athlete embarked on a path that would lead him to impressive heights. Over the years, he showcased his skills on various fronts, representing both the Manukau U-19 squad and securing a spot in the New Plymouth Boys High School first XI. Even before commencing his college career at Midway University, he had already established himself as a prolific goal scorer, earning the title of MVP in the 2nd XI National Tournament and emerging as the leading goal scorer for the NPBHS 1st XI.
It fills us with immense pride to witness Leo’s continued impact in the American college system. His remarkable ability was truly showcased when he scored an astonishing game-winning goal against the University of Pikeville, a goal that undoubtedly captured the attention of his coach, as well as his teammates!
