Tessa Hyland’s exceptional soccer skills were on full display as she found the net in two consecutive matches for Northwest College at the beginning of September!
Hailing from Marlborough, New Zealand, Tessa embarked on her soccer journey at 7. She now showcases her skills as a midfielder for Northwest College, adding a dynamic playing style to the women’s squad. In the earlier stages of her career, she also made significant contributions as a defender in the squads she played for prior to her college career. From 2019 to 2022, Tessa played for several different teams and clubs and even competed in a futsal team in 2019-2021!
Her recent performances for Northwest College have been a delight to watch as she was instrumental in the team’s victories over Central Wyoming College and Western Nebraska Community College, scoring a goal in each back-to-back match!
It’s been an absolute joy to see Tessa putting on some show-stopping performances with the Northwest Trappers, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of this season has in store for her!
