Congratulations to Harjot Singh who has just signed with the North Carolina Wesleyan College men’s soccer team! Harjot is from Auckland (NZ) and has been working with our team since the beginning of last year. Harjot is very strong academically with a long list of academic achievements and was head boy at Saint Kentigern College, with great talent as a soccer player as well.
After talking with a number of colleges, Harjot felt he connected the best with Coach Bowman at NC Wesleyan. This program competes within the NCAA Division III USA South Conference. Harjot will have his work cut out for him, joining a very strong program in NC Wesleyan. Their last conference title came in 2019 and hopefully with the addition of Harjot they can add 4 more.
We are very excited to watch Harjot compete this fall! Next stop, North Carolina!
From Harjot:
Why you chose NC Wesleyan?
“NC Wesleyan was the best option due to the ability to advance my academic and sporting endeavors whilst being in a tight knit community where I would be exposed to multiple perspectives from which I could learn. Further, their feedback and high praise from current international students confirmed my interest in NC Wesleyan.”
Your experience so far working with Platform?
“Working with Platform has significantly helped make the college process easier. It’s like being part of a family where your the little sibling. The direct contact and commitment from both Dylan and Amrit to find the best school for me was an example of their genuineness and quality of work.”
What you’re looking forward to about the US?
“I’m excited to experience a new environment with different opportunities and challenges to grow as a human being and academic. Further, I’m looking forward to seeing myself grow as a soccer player and returning home with a ring.”
